OK, so we went back toward Sedona again. What can I say; the truck is on auto pilot.

This is a great place to visit if you have a few hours. The old ranch house is gone except for a rather substantial chimney but just down the path are some really interesting petroglyphs. Lots of them. Plus a docent who can explain the calendar, what most of the symbols mean, and answer all sorts of questions.

The big problem is I forgot what he said each of these symbols stood for so I guess we'll just have to go back. Oh, bummer.

The V-Bar-V brand is on the back. Cute

It's a substantial piece of stonework

This is the most densly inscribed section of stone at the site

There are many of the usual figures but also some I've never seen used before

There's a scottie, pineaple, double wavy lines and fish skeletons here

Some figures are easy, like the cranes, but the tic-tac-toe block is different

Geometric designes are on separate sections

More geometric symbols and suns

The turtle people. They think these are clan symbols

The elongated alien. Or maybe the death figure of the underworld
